Hello, we’re Wisetack

Bobby Tzekin is CEO and Co-Founder of Wisetack and has over 20 years of building products and teams at leading fintech companies.  

Previously Bobby led Product Management at Lending Club for 4 years, Mosaic, a fintech serving the clean energy market, and YapStone, an online payments platform.  Earlier in his career, he spent 7 years at PayPal as the company became a global payments leader. 

Bobby began his career at Bain and Company and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Kolya Klymenko is the CTO and Co-Founder of Wisetack, responsible for the development of the company’s software, technology operations, and overall technology strategy and infrastructure, including security and business continuity. 

Prior to Wisetack, Kolya was the CTO and Co-Founder at Varo Money, where he built the Engineering team of 70 people, released lending, checking, savings, and other banking products, and worked with regulators to represent the company technology to receive a full banking charter preapproval from OCC. 

Kolya has 25 years of financial technology experience building successful lending and payments systems, including serving as Vice President of Technology at Lending Club, and also held senior roles at Agari and Monitise.

Eddy Chen is VP of Risk, Analytics & Finance at Wisetack, where he is responsible for platform and portfolio risk management, analytics and pricing strategy, and all finance functions. 

Prior to Wisetack, Eddy was VP of Finance at LendingClub, where he was responsible for product-level pricing and competitive positioning, as well as credit performance and investor yield analytics.  Eddy has extensive experience in Financial Services and Technology through his previous roles at BlackRock (iShares Distribution Strategy), eBay (Search Analytics), Lehman Brothers / Barclays Capital (Synthetic Equities Trading), and Providian Financial (Credit and Marketing Analytics).

Eddy holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and BS from the University of Virginia, and is a CFA charterholder.

Katya Baron is VP of Capital at Wisetack, where she leads the Company’s capital and lending partner relationships.

Katya has over 15 years of experience in asset finance and capital markets through investment banking, structuring and sales & trading roles at sell-side and buy-side financial institutions. Prior to Wisetack, Katya was head of capital markets for Mosaic’s $1+BN portfolio of residential solar loans, establishing the company’s warehouse and whole loan sales facilities and launching a successful de novo securitization program.  

Katya began her career at JPMorgan Securities and holds a BA in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College. 

Sean Devlin is Head of Product at Wisetack, where he is responsible for the development and management of the product roadmap and customer experience. 

Prior to Wisetack, Sean was Managing Director of Fintech at Housecall Pro, where he built fintech operations from the ground up, including partnerships, product development, and operations.

Earlier in his career, Sean founded three companies, including Place, where he managed relationships with brands like Coca-Cola, Nike, and Cirque du Soleil. He continues to consult with dozens of small start ups on product and go-to-market strategy.

Sean holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and a degree from Université de Fribourg.

Iris Pfeifer leads sales, marketing, and partnerships at Wisetack, where she is responsible for driving user acquisition and loan volume growth via partnerships with software platforms and marketing initiatives.

Prior to Wisetack, Iris was in marketing at Carta where she led campaigns and initiatives to drive revenue growth, within their core business (cap table software for startups) and their investor services business line. Prior to that, she was on the early go-to-market team at Affirm, where she was responsible for signing ecommerce merchants.

Iris holds a BS from Stanford University and began her career as a product manager at an early stage startup.

Elliott Lum is the Head of Compliance and BSA/AML Officer at Wisetack, where he is responsible for implementing all regulatory, financial crime, and security compliance programs. 

Prior to Wisetack, Elliott helped build and scale the compliance functions at Brex, Uphold, and Funding Circle. Earlier in his career, he held operational and risk roles at State Street and Bank of the West, respectively.

Elliott holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin and a JD from the University of Oregon and began his career as a regulator for the State of California.

Tony is Head of Customer Experience. Prior to Wisetack, Tony spent 5 years at LendingClub as the Sr Director of Operations where he led and scaled the Credit and Fraud Operations team, and then later built out the Operations Innovation and Execution team.

Tony has over 20 years of operations management experience. He started his career as a small business owner operating two franchise stores, and then started his corporate journey with Lindt & Sprungli where he became the Business Unit Manager for the Ghirardelli chocolate division. Prior to joining LendingClub he was the GM of Operations for Better Brands.

Tony has a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Kala Sherman-Presser is Wisetack’s General Counsel and leads the legal function. Prior to joining Wisetack, she was Head of Legal & Compliance at EarnUp, a fintech in the payments space, where she built the legal and compliance functions from the ground up. Kala also ran the Legal and People functions at shift.com, an e-commerce platform for used car buying and selling.  

Earlier in her career, Kala spent seven years as a litigator at the global law firm Latham & Watkins LLP, where she represented clients in high-stakes civil and criminal litigation.  

Kala holds a JD from Georgetown Law and a BA from Dartmouth College. 

Rebecca Pigg is VP of People, where she is responsible for developing our people and culture strategies to ensure a positive and impactful employee experience, including talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and total rewards.

Rebecca brings over 20 years of HR experience. Prior to joining Wisetack, Rebecca held people leadership positions at Pixar, Marqeta, and Front. Earlier in her career, Rebecca spent time at Gensler and Macy’s West. 

Rebecca holds a BS in Industrial Psychology from California State University, East Bay.
