New loan amounts and longer terms help home improvement businesses quote full-scope projects that customers can actually say yes to

SAN FRANCISCO — June 30, 2026 — Wisetack, a leading provider of customer financing for in-person services, today announced it has raised its maximum financing amount to $65,000 for qualified customers and introduced new 7- and 10-year loan terms* starting at 9.9% APR* for eligible borrowers. The changes are already live for merchants using Wisetack, with no setup required and no change to Wisetack's 3.9% merchant transaction fee.

The increase, made possible through Wisetack's bank partners, supports large-ticket home services businesses such as roofing, HVAC, remodeling, pool installation, windows and doors, and foundation services.

"Home improvement job sizes are climbing, and payment options haven't kept pace, so customers stall projects, downsize scope, or shop competing bids," said Iris Pfeifer, VP of Growth at Wisetack. "Higher loan limits change the conversation for our merchants, from 'Can my customer pay for this?' to 'What does this customer actually want?'"

What's changing

  • Higher loan amounts: Wisetack now finances eligible jobs up to $65,000 for qualified customers, up from the previous limit of $25,000.
  • Longer terms, lower payments: New 7- and 10-year loan terms* are available starting at 9.9% APR* for qualified borrowers, in addition to Wisetack's existing shorter-term options (loan terms now span 3 to 120 months). On a $12,000 project, for example, a longer term can bring the estimated monthly payment to as low as $178.
  • No new cost for merchants: The merchant transaction fee remains unchanged at 3.9%.
  • No deferred interest, no prepayment penalty: As with all Wisetack financing, customers who choose the longer terms face no deferred interest and can pay off their loan early at any time without penalty.

Why it matters

For years, financing was positioned as a fallback — a way to help a customer who otherwise couldn't afford a job. Increasingly, it's the default way home improvement businesses present their full scope of work to customers who could pay cash but would rather preserve savings and pay over time.

Wisetack merchants who have adopted longer-term financing as a standard part of every estimate — rather than a tool reserved for price objections — report that lower monthly payments reduce sticker shock, support higher approval rates, and reduce the number of projects that get downsized or lost to competing bids.
