Do you send applications through the merchant portal? If so, your customers can turn their prequalified offers into financing applications on their own → see what that flow looks like for them here
They'll get a notification (in-app and by email) letting them know what's needed
Most verification requests ask for a photo ID, proof that work has been completed, a photo of the signed contract, and/or proof of residency
Approval itself already happened — verification is part of locking in the offer, not a new credit decision
Let your customer know upfront that this step is possible on bigger jobs, so it doesn't catch them off guard
Check the application status in your portal — "Action required" can mean the customer needs to select an offer, or that they still need to upload a document
Don't start the job until the offer is locked in, same as any other job
"For a job this size, Wisetack may ask you to confirm your ID or upload a photo of the signed contract — it's quick, and it just keeps everything secure on a bigger purchase."
"That verification step doesn't mean anything's wrong — it's normal for larger amounts, and it only takes a few minutes."
